It seems like no one wakes up to good news in this country anymore. Just by opening the accounts, we can see that we are going backwards—one nation, one economy, one dream. The country had weathered the storm of the pandemic. It was surviving, trying to stand tall.
Right then, on August 5, 2024, a man named Muhammad Yunus committed one of the ugliest political robberies in history—overthrowing the government elected by the people and sitting on the couch, wrapped in a shabby sheet called an 'interim'. Now, in less than a year, that non-government has brought the country down to an economic abyss, surrounded by only decay, darkness, and the smell of utter helplessness.
It is natural to feel dizzy reading 3.97 percent, because this number surpasses the horrors of Covid. This so-called government, which is flying the flag of total failure, has not only broken the country's economy, but also the country's backbone.
They don't know the plan, they don't understand the reality, yet they are sitting on our shoulders like guardian angels. During the Corona period, when the whole world was crying, Bangladesh was still able to maintain a growth rate of 3.75 percent. Today? Today, a bunch of so-called "philosophers" and stage-shaking orators are running the state, and the results are before our eyes.
The agricultural sector, where the lives of crores of people in the country depend, is now growing at only 1.79 percent. This government does not know that agriculture is not just about rice and wheat, it is a lifeline.
Sham New: Yet it has been left in the abyss of neglect. Farmers are dying, crops are being destroyed, but the Yunus army is busy making PR packages for foreigners. The service sector has also collapsed, reaching 4.51 percent. People are not spending because they have no money. There is no work.
Prices are skyrocketing, purchasing power is at rock bottom. The industrial sector is also in a state of near-death, with only ready-made garments surviving from their previous pace, while the rest are quietly dying out. Investment? That's a story now. Private sector investment has fallen. Credit growth is also the lowest in 30 years. No one, domestic or foreign, trusts this government anymore. The foreigners who put Yunus in this position are also now passing by.
And Yunus Sahib is smilingly telling dollar dollar stories in front of the nation, while in reality people are not able to go to the market and buy any daily necessities. A strange makeup is going on in the name of power generation, as if saving this one sector and destroying the rest will do.
Growth in the gas sector has stalled. Yet they too will say, "The country is moving forward!" What is moving forward? Whose pockets are getting bigger? How many houses are closed, how many factories are locked down, is anyone giving an account of that? They brag about the slight increase in per capita income. However, the Bureau of Statistics says that this calculation is flawed and based on old data. A group of researchers is saying that the country's GDP calculation since August 5th is exaggerated, false, and fabricated.
And Yunus and Company are building a platform based on this lie.
A disgusting drama, where the reality of the people is being forgotten and it is being said: “Everything is fine.” But nothing is fine. This government is not of the people, this government is not of democracy. This government is of money, weapons and conspiracy.
This regime, which grew up in the shadow of Islamic fundamentalists and seized power with foreign support, has poisoned every vein of the country. And Yunus Sahib, his so-called theory, his so-called dialogue—all are now a mask of a terrible failure. This is not an ordinary economic collapse. This is planned destruction, state lawlessness. And the only name for this lawlessness is Mohammad Yunus. History will not forgive them. And the people of Bangladesh? They will recognize who the real authors of this collapse are, sooner or later.
